Britanski mediji su objavili da je Paul Pogba odlučio završiti reprezentativnu karijeru jer je zamjerio predsjedniku Francuske Emmanuelu Macronu na izjavama kojima je uvrijedio muslimane.

Nakon nekoliko sati Pogba se oglasio i demantirao te tvrdnje.

Francuz je objavio naslovnicu Suna i rekao kako nikada nije razmišljao o tome.

"Dakle, The Sun je opet to uradio. Apsolutno 100% neprovjerene vijesti o meni kruže navodeći stvari koje nisam nikada rekao ni pomislio. Zgrožen sam, ljut, šokiran i frustriran što me neki 'mediji' koriste da prave lažne naslove u ovim osjetljivim vremenima za Francusku", napisao je, između ostalog Pogba na Instagramu.

I am appalled, angry, shocked and frustrated some “media” sources use me to make total fake headlines in the sensible subject of French current events and adding the French National Team to the pot.
